Rail Shooter Genre

Wild West on Rails draws on the legacy of light gun and arcade rail shooters but reimagined with Unity’s modern toolset. Rather than aiming for realism, we leaned into a diorama-style aesthetic: cardboard cutouts, slapstick sound effects, and rigid animations give the game a handcrafted feel. The player focuses on timing, precision, and rhythm—shooting bandit boards as they pop up.
